Sat. 11/9

Elites, still want some Bluegrass but without a climb? Roll from Manor House at Mtn Cove Farms at 9am but head north for the Hog Jowl/Kensington/Marble Top/Cove Rd Loop. Just under 40 miles. See map. Also the Gravel option is a good one too.

Sat. 11/2/24

A lot of Elites out this weekend but King will lead this one. Roll with TB from Red Bank Elementary at 8:30 and chase them until mile 23 where Elite’s will take a left on Hixson Pike when TB turns right. Return via the Soddy Ball Fields. 44.2 miles with no climb.

Sat. 10/19

Elites will roll from the Little White Church in Sequatchie Valley at 10am EDT for 2 options. The first is a 40 mile mixed surface route and the other is the standard 50 miler to Pikeville and back. Here’s the mixed surface map.

Sat. 10/12

Elites to roll at 9am from St. Elmo Food City and join Barry Allen and his crew for a ride down to Mtn Cove and back. Option 2 is to start with them and then cut off with Larrry English near Chickamauga to do a shorter loop Eastward. 2.75 hour roll time.

Sat. 10/5 Cycle Sequatchie

Official Elite ride is the Cycle Sequatchie event. Lots of options but know for a fact a bunch of folks are opting for the 40 and 60 mile mixed surface options. Online registration has closed but you can register at Owen Cycle Thursday afternoon from 3 – 6pm. Also onsite beginning at 6am CDT. All routes roll at 7:30am CDT. Route included is the metric mixed surface route. https://www.cyclesequatchie.com/

Sat. 9/28

Weather permitting, Elites will roll with TB at 9am from Soddy Ball Fields. Climb Retro Hughes, but will head down the mountain via Brayton Mtn Rd. into Graysville.  See map for turns. 46.5 miles.

Sat. 9/21

Elites will tackle TB’s problem from another direction. Roll from Steady’s Campground at 9, head over the toe, out Creek Rd. over to Murphy Hollow, and return via the Stair Steps. Who knows, we might blend in with TB on the Stair Steps.

46 miles and 2,800+ ft.

Sat. 9/7

To avoid confusion and competition, Elites will roll from St. Elmo Food City at 9am, head south through the Battlefield, and meander through North Georgia. You’ll need the map to not miss some of the turns.

Sat. 8/31

No official Elite ride Saturday. See you at the Holiday ride Monday (see TB post for details)
