4th of July Holiday Ride and TB Sat. 7/6

First, Bubba will head to Bub One and Sweetie’s house on Thursday for a holiday ride followed by festivities and shenanigans with BBQ, Bacondogs, sides, and blackberry cobbler. BYOB. The pool is open. I’m told swimsuits are recommended but not required. Friends and family are welcome to join.

On Saturday, Bubba will exchange some climbing for some mileage riding up the W, down the back of Signal, and back over Suck.

We will try something a little different and off the beaten path this week. Head to Haletown for a metric down to Stevenson, Alabama, and back up around Jasper. Bubba will head west for a Ringgold to Cleveland metric. Roll at 8:00 to try to beat some of the heat. The start location is the old Waffle House at I-75 Exit 345, Ringgold/Tunnel Hill. We believe the Waffle House is closed for renovations and that we should be able to park there. Alternatively, there are several gas stations nearby. Park where you feel comfortable.
