Elites will roll at 9:30 am from the Patten Community Center (use the parking lot off Kelly’s Ferry Road) in Tiftonia for a 50-mile tour of Lookout Valley. Store stop at about mile 26 when we hit GA 136 west of Trenton. The later start is to let the temps come up a little.

Any Saturday is a good Saturday for a bike ride. But this Saturday is not looking like it’s earning any stars on your “Best Cycling Days Ever” chart.
The forecast predicts a washout. As of now, no ride is planned. If surprised by better than expected weather Saturday morning, we’ll update this post by 8 am.

Roll from the St. Elmo Food City at 9 am for the traditional CCW loop south through Chattanooga Valley to Captain Wood Road — 53 miles and 2,660 feet. Stop planned at the store at mile 40.

The weather is looking okay for Saturday. Bubba will roll from Red Bank Elementary at 9:00 for a trip over Suck and back around via the stair steps. Store stop at mile 28.5 at the Bait Store.

It will be a nice spring day for this Missile-led ride. Elites will leave from the parking lot across from the Falling Water Baptist Church at 9 am for a 40 mile CCW loop to Sale Creek and back — 1,800 feet with a 1/2 dozen or so hills to help work the dust off winter fitness levels.

Bubba will roll at 10:00 on Saturday, when the temperature should crack freezing. The start location is Sculpture Fields at Montague Park. We will head south for a north Georgia metric mapped by Bub One. Post-ride food and beverage at Oddsory.

Elites will wait to 11 am to leave from Montague Park when the forecast is for an acceptable 40 degree start. Roughly, the same route as TB except we’ll close the loop at Rock Spring — which shorts the ride to 48 miles and 2,300 feet of climbing. Stop at the battlefield park HQ.
