Option 1 – Roll from St Elmo Food City at 8:30 for a Blankenship favorite (the King will be leading the charge). South through Kensington, over to Layfayette. Back through Rock Spring, Chickamauga, etc. 64 miles. See map below.

Roll from Soddy Ball Fields at 8:30 for a ride north to Cranmore Cove. One option includes a climb up Brayton Mtn, down 30 with a right turn onto Cranmore Cove Rd. 60 miles. The other option heads north to Dayton on Old Graysville Rd, short climb up hwy 30 to the left turn on Cranmore Cove. 41 miles click red button for map. Same route return to Soddy. Options Galore

Official Elite Ride – Rolls from Patton Park on Kelly’s Ferry Rd. in Tiftonia at 8:30 for 46 mile ride down Creek Rd towards Rising Fawn. Turn north at Byrds Chapel, short climb up 136 and back via Slygo and 299. Map below.

Try to get back in time to beat the heat. Park in the lot on the northeast corner of the traffic light, diagonally across from the visitor’s center.

Sat. 7/22

Roll at 8:30 EDT from little white church in Sequatchie Valley for a 50 miler up to Pikeville and back. See map for start point and route.

Of course option 2 always exists. Chase TB on their ride.

Option 3 – Roll from Battlefield at 9am for 3+/- hours. Rain cancels. Park int he lot on the NE corner of the traffic light diagonally across from the visitor’s center.

Sat. 7/15

King will lead a ride departing from St. Elmo Food City at 8 am that we call the Food City Hog Jowl Loop. 53 miles. See map for details.

Option 1 – King says let’s chase, but only up to a point. Roll with TB from Falling Water at 8:30 and chase TB up to Sale Creek where we’ll take a left and come back via Back Valley. Kind of what we did last week but in reverse order. 40 miles.

Option 1 – Roll from Falling Water at 9am for a ride similar to TB but with no climb. North to Bakewell and return via McCallie Ferry, Lee, Armstrong, etc. 41 miles.

Option 3 – join Larry English at the Battlefield at 9am for series 7 of the Roads Less Traveled. 3 hour ride. Excessive Canadian smoke cancels

Fourth of July – Holiday ride. Roll at 9:00 from the BeezleBub Ranch – 1546 Burnt Mill Rd. Flintstone GA 30725 and do the loop below (note it shows starting at St. Elmo Food City). Post ride includes Bacon dogs, brats, fixins, and perhaps some Sweetie cobbler!   BeezleBub and Sweetie can’t claim us as dependents just yet so make sure you hit the tip jar. BYOBeer. Elites will roll with Bub  from St Elmo Food City at 8am.  Down to the Cove and back via Hog Jowl. up Daugherty Gap and back via top of Lookout descending Ochs Hwy. 65 miles and less climbing.

Sat. 6/10

Option 1 – Gravel Saturday. Roll from St. Elmo Food City at 9 for a ride that includes Guild, Upper and Lower Truck trails. 30 miles.

Option 2 – Good day to chase TB since they will be “tapering” (wink, wink) for the Maine trip.

Option 3 – Englishman’s will roll at 9am from the Battlefield for a +/- 3 hour ride

Option 1 – Roll with TB at 8:30 from Falling Water and climb Mountain Rd. but then descend Hotwater. Head north out Back Valley to Sale Creek and return via Stormer, Old Dayton Pike, etc. 40 miles (see map)
