In an attempt to honor some ride requests by the Fly and 003, we will roll from Tunnel Hill, GA, for a trip south to Subligna and back. These should be some good roads with low traffic and no major climbs. Post ride lunch at Farm to Fork or El Charro Bar and Restaurant.

TB Memorial Weekend Sat. Ride 5/24

Memorial Day is looking like a washout, so a variation of Bubba’s Holiday Ride will roll Saturday. AfterParty @ Bub1 & Sweetie’s w/ BBQ, BaconDogs, Blackberry Cobbler, Beer & Sides. (Please bring some cash to tip the hosts.)

It looks like the rain has been mostly taken out of the forecast for Saturday. Bubba will head south from St. Elmo Food City to check on the Iornman course. Store stops at mile 21.1 and/or mile 35.5 (and a possible reroute to Yanks at mile 49ish if needed).

Good luck to all Bubbas doing the IM 70.3 on Sunday!

The weatherman can’t make up his mind for Saturday. Currently it looks mostly dry, but check the weather before you head out. Bubba will head north this week for Hell of the North. Roll at 9:00 from Falling Water. Store stop options at mile 41.9 (C&G Quick Stop if it’s open) or 45.1 (Dollar General).

Sat. 5/3 Spring Bubbagrass 2025

Weather Update: The weather looks terrible for 5/3. Bub One and Crack’em may try to do a short gravel bike ride if the weather cooperates enough. It is looking unlikely that we will do the planned road ride. Crack’em will try to send out an update early tomorrow morning via the email list.

It is time for Bub One’s spring Bubbagrass ride. The road route is 71 miles and features Little River Canyon in Alabama.

Start at the Manor House at Mountain Cove Farms (Manor House) at 9:00.

 

Free bluegrass festival entry for after ride fun. BYOB and some cash for food. There is a full concession stand with hamburgers, hot dogs, bbq, etc.
